Blind Wine and Cheese Tasting

Details: So you think you know your wines? And you think
you know your cheeses? Well let's put you to the test!
Partnered with the Dairy Farmers of Canada this event is for
those who want to test their wine and cheese palates. We offer
a fun blind tasting of Okanagan wines and fine Canadian
cheeses followed by dancing to great blues at the Blue Gator.
Come and learn to identify your favourite varietals and
cheeses and vote to determine whether or not you can recognize
the differences between wines and cheeses. Tickets available

Masters of Food and Wine

Street, Kelowna
Details: A celebration of fine food and wine! The Okanagan
Wine Festivals and the BC Restaurant and Foodservices
Association bring you this evening of fine wine and fabulous
cuisine. Wine and Food stations will be located within the
building. Local restaurants and wineries will participate in
this event that will allow you to sample some of the finest
food that can be paired with the world renowned wines of the

Ground Up

Details: The Okanagan Wine Festivals is pleased to present
an educational afternoon hosted by Rod and Marjorie King from
Naramata and the Dairy Farmers of Canada. You will be
introduced to a number of wines from the Valley. Learn how
grapes are grown so that they are at their peak before being
turned into some of the world's best wine. The seminar
provides the most important lesson of all - drinking wine is
not stuffy, it's fun and part of our culture in the Okanagan.
A highlight of this seminar is the opportunity to learn how
these wines work with fine cheeses provided by the Dairy
Farmers of Canada. "Heat
the past or get the raw deal", enjoy an amazing array of raw
milk, heat treated and pasteurized cheeses.

want to explore some of the finest wines that are being
produced right here in our back yards. A great event for those
trying wines for the first time as well as those who want to
expand their wine knowledge. There are over 35 wineries
present and over 175 wines to sample. Ticket includes:
souvenir wine glass, all your wine tasting, bread and cheese
and a free taxi ride home (Lake Country-Peachland). This event
